Hideki Keoni gerry Yasui

Gerry Yasui is a first generation Japanese American living in Hawaiʻi.

Born in Osaka in 1972.

After graduating from Osaka Institute of Technology High School and Kyoto Polytechnic College,

I worked as a engineer for JAL and started making Wood Cutlery in 2011.

In 2015, I left the company and moved to Hawaii when he became a permanent resident of the United States.

Hana lima cutlery and accessories are made mainly from Koa wood, which is indigenous to Hawaii.

I founded Hana lima cutlery & accessory, Hawaiʻi LLC, where I works as an Owner, Craftsman & Artist.

Changed the company name to Hana lima surf, LLC in December 2018.
